People Connect launched NameSummit 2017 held at the Hilton Midtown Manhattan Hotel is described as “A Digital Branding Conference” rather than a domain conference.  Conference co-founder Jason Schaeffer said the show is built around the idea that “everyone is an influencer whether you have 1 million followers or just one, whether YOU are the brand or work for one, we are covering what you need to build your brand, reach and messaging.”

NameSummit organizers along with co-founder Steven Kaziyev created a unique opportunity for attendees to meet with leading branding professionals, domain name industry experts, registries and business leaders, as well as to learn from and network with fellow entrepreneurs and digital branding superstars.  Its broad scope included developing and maintaining a brand online, mastering up-to-the-minute SEO algorithms, as well as key insights and trends into what really works and what doesn’t, across multiple online industries and competitive marketing spaces. This show extended well beyond domains with coverage of a full range of digital branding topics.

Essentially NameSummit 2017 encapsulated everything related to launching and operating an online business. Whether its domain acquisition, website development, search engine optimization, social media or social media marketing and management, NameSummit brought all these elements together in a dynamic two-day-long event.

NameSummit presented an agenda that spotlighted CEOs, marketing directors, investors and digital branding specialists, influencers and speakers from brands including the Top Level Domains (TLDs) for New York City, .NYC. Speakers from such big city brand owners Josh Perla of TimesSquare.com and John Colascione of LongIsland.com. along with personal branding expert Greg Yuna (better known to some as “Mr. Flawless”) and Youtube marketing guru Roberto Blake, shared their insights and expertise with an audience comprised of digital entrepreneurs an offline, brick and mortar businesses.
